Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has revealed that he may consider running for Member of Parliament if the people encourage him to enter politics.

The self-acclaimed SM Boss made the statement during an interview on Asempa FM, where he spoke about his influence, leadership, and the possibility of serving the public in a political role.

According to the award-winning musician, he is open to the idea of becoming a lawmaker if Ghanaians believe he can represent them effectively and contribute to national development. He indicated that while politics has not been a personal ambition, he would not ignore a strong call from the people to step into public service.

Shatta Wale, known for his outspoken views on governance, youth empowerment, and economic opportunities for creatives, has often used his platform to comment on national issues affecting young people in Ghana.

His latest remarks have already sparked conversations among fans and observers about whether the dancehall star could one day transition from music to politics, joining a growing list of entertainers who have shown interest in public office.

For now, the musician says the decision would ultimately depend on the will of the people and whether they believe he can represent their interests in Parliament.
